Trellix Makes Web Design Fun
Add Text, Delete, Add Links

By Linda Roeder, About.com

Step 4 - Add Text

If you want to add more text, but there's no more text on the page to change with an "edit" button next to it, you can still add more. At the bottom of the screen is a bar with some icons on it. The one all the way to the left says "Add Text" on it.

When you click on the icon, you will be taken to a page that looks just like your page, except with a bunch of buttons that say "Add it here". Decide where you want to add the text, and click on the button.

Now you will be at a page that looks just like the one where you changed text earlier. Type the text into the box. Then choose the settings you want for your text and click on "Done".

Step 5 - Delete Section

If there is something on your site you don't want there, you can delete it. Say you have a paragraph that you don't like, and you want to get rid of the whole thing. Click on edit, as though you were going to change the text or settings. Then look down at the bar on the bottom of the screen. You will see an icon that says "delete". Click on it, and the paragraph and everything contained in it will be gone.

You can do the same thing with links, pictures and anything else on your site.

Step 6 - Add Link

You will probably want to link to other pages on your site or to other sites that you like. Doing this has been made very simple.

On the bar at the bottom of the screen click on the icon that says "Add Link". Then you will be taken to a page that looks like yours, but with buttons on it that say "Add it here". Click on the button that is where you want the link to be. On the next page, you can choose to link to another site, a page on your site or an email address.
