Guide Review - dotPhoto

dotPhoto allows you to host your photos on their photo hosting server for free. Create photo albums and link your photo albums to your Web site.

When you upload your photos with them you are able to create a photo CD and have it mailed to you for a low fee. You can also create gifts with your photos on them and have them mailed to you or your friends and family. This is a great way to create inexpensive gifts for holidays like Mother's and Father's Day, Christmas and Hanukkah or just to show someone you care.

If you want hard copy prints of your photos you can get them too. Just pick out the ones you want and have them sent to you, or someone else, for a low cost. When you join you get 20 free prints, of your choice. If you sign up for one of their monthly print plans you will get more free prints.

Uploading your photos is easy too. You can use your digital camera or your camera phone. Protect your photos with a watermark if you want to for security.

Consumers Beware, Member alittell

NOT happy at all with Dotphoto. Without notice, my ""free"" membership turned into a ""you hit your storage limits, now you must pay at least a $19.99 fee to even ACCESS your pictures"" site. I emailed their customer service with no resolution. Switched to Shutterfly and am very happy!
