In just minutes you can have your own virtual pet that you can feed, play with and even battle with. You choose the gender and the name for your Facebook My Pet and then you can play, buy things and battle.
Adding the My Pet Application to Facebook
The time for adding the My Pet Facebook application is about two minutes. Soon you'll be playing with your My Pet.
- Time to sign up for your own My Pet on Facebook. Go to the My Pet application page to get started.
- Click on the "Add Application" button, then choose your My Pet application options.
- Now click on "Add My Pet".
- Over on the left side of your page click on the My Pet application link in your Applications section.
Getting Started with My Pet on Facebook
Getting started is easy, just set up your My Pet, then you can start playing.
- In the Applications section of your Facebook profile you'll see a link that says "more". If you hold your mouse over that or click on it all your added Facebook applications will open in the list. Click on the one that says "My Pet"
- Your My Pet application will open up. Click on the "Start" sign.
- Choose whether you want your pet to be a boy or a girl.
- Then give your pet a name.
- Change your pet's attributes.
- Click OK to get started playing with your My Pet.
Playing In the Garden With Your My Pet on Facebook
Take good care of your My Pet and it'll last a long time.
- Food - Using the Food button you can feed your My Pet so they have more strength to play
- Train - Train your pet, this is like playing with them and makes them very happy.
- Heal - Heal your pet. This also makes them happier and stronger.
Shopping for your My Pet on Facebook
My Pets love new clothes, get them some and dress them up.
- Buy clothes and medicine for your My Pet.
- Each item costs money, you may not have enough in the beginning to buy anything.
- There are shirts, hats, pants and different elixirs.
Go on an Adventure With your My Pet
When you get to your adventure there will be a monster. You have to choose whether to run or fight.
- Run - Takes you back to the garden where you're safe.
- Fight - Lets you fight with the monster on your own terms.
- Auto - This will let the fight go on while you sit back and watch. This did nothing for me, the just sat there and stared at each other.
