The Bottom Line
One of the things that makes this book really good is that it is full of examples. You can see the code, and then see what it does. For most of the examples there is a Web page that demonstrates the example and how it works, and also copies the script so you can play with it and see what you can make it do without having to actually type it yourself.

Guide Review - Instant IE4 Dynamic HTML
Once you know HTML you will be ready to jump into the world of Dynamic HTML, and this book will help you. You will learn how to take your basic Web page and make it do a whole lot more than HTML can provide for. Style sheets and object models are just the beginning. When you delve into this book you will find a whole new world of information and things you can do with your Web site.

You may already realize that there are differences in how the various browsers view HTML. Sometimes what works great in one browser may not work at all in another. Chapter 8 deals specifically with that problem. It explains what you need to do to take the Dynamic HTML you have created for Internet Explorer and make it compatible in Netscape Communicator and vice versa.
