About your site: part 2

If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
I honestly don't think I'd change anything.
What are your favorite things on your site?
My poetry and the things on my site that can be sent through email or icq to others as well as my webrings.
When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
Easy to read, relatively fast loading, love to see pics, and easy to navigate.
What is "one word" that would describe your site?
Gentle
Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
Just someone out there with a website that wants to share nice things with others. Maybe a bit of a writer because some of my own poetry is on the site.
How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
I tend to look at others sites, see what they have done. And when I'm frustrated, I just keep plugging away. When it finally works it is a great sensation.
Why do you think people are interested in you and what you have to say?
I don't know if they are so much interested in me but I think they like the site because it is a pleasant site to go through. I call it my "kinder/gentler" site.
What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why an online journal")?I do it to please myself and more so, other people. To give them something to sit back and relax to. Nothing that glares at them, or shocks them, or flashes at them. And a place where they can go to find special things for friends/loved ones to send to them to make their day.
