Social networking's not for everyone, I get that. Some people are really concerned about online safety, I get that too. Making friends online is time consuming and some people would rather be out there making "real" friends and doing other activities, I also get that.
There is a way to have an online live and and offline life at the same time. I do it, and I many other people that do it. It takes a bit of willpower to not get tied up in all the games and online activities, but it can be done.

I feel like I can never move on with my life because I see people I was friends with or guys I dated and I feel like I can never let go unless I just delete it and MOVE ON.

ok, facebook was filling my inbox with requests and crap. I turned off all notifications and it didn’t stop. I deactivated my account…IT STILL DIDN’T STOP.
I emailed facebook and was given a BS response of how to manually remove all the content in my profile.
This didn’t help with the email notifications.
At this point I got creative.
First I posted F#$% FACEBOOK on my wall.
Then I changed my profile photo to a pornographic pic.
THen I deactivated my account and emailed abuse@facebook.com and told them my account has been hacked and I was offended by the pictures posted.
Within minutes my account was gone!!!!!

Facebook is a sham.
I’ve been sitting here for two hours now, trying to delete my account, and FB keeps saying I’m entering the wrong password. I’ve even copied and pasted it from Notepad, just so I can inspect e v e r y letter and not just asterisks, but it still says I’m incorrect.
I’ve logged in and out, just to see if my password was working right and it was fine! The only problem is that FB keeps on CLAIMING that I am entering the wrong password.
And by the way, why do you have to wait two whole weeks to wait for your account to obliterate? How about by the time you hit Delete, it’s all gone! That easy!
It’s Facebook bull.
Try it now; I complained to FaceBook and they told me it is now fixed, I just tried it and it accepted my userid/password

Noah, log out of Facebook from your grandmothers account. Then log in using your own username and password. Then you should be in your own Facebook.
