Add Gabbly Live Chat to your Wikispaces Wiki

Monday December 21, 2009

With Gabbly you can add live chat to your Wikispaces wiki. Now the readers of your Wikispaces wiki will be able to chat with each other using Gabbly right from your Wikispaces wiki.

Chat and wikis are meant to go together. A wiki can help you create a community and adding chat to your wiki can help keep your wiki members together.

o Create Your Own Wiki With Wikispaces
o Start Your Own Wiki
o What You Can Do With a Wiki

Add Gabbly Live Chat to your Wikispaces wiki and let all your wiki members chat with each other whenever they want. Or you can create a chat schedule with specific times for certain parts of your wiki so the members can get together and chat. If you want to create different chat rooms you can do that too.

Once you add chat your wiki becomes more of a community then it ever was before. Add Gabbly Live Chat to your Wikispaces wiki.

I want to know what you think about chat these days? Does it still have a place on today's Internet?

Also, have you tried a wiki yet? If not why? If so what can you tell others about wikis?

Webfetti has the most amazing variety of graphics, layouts and widgets that you could want for your website. They offer so much, and it's all free. They even have generators that let you create your own graphics and text if you don't see what you're looking for.

There were a lot of Web layouts I saw that I liked. The graphics and layouts on Webfetti can all be added to your personal website, blog or social networking site. If you belong to certain blog networks or social networking site, the codes can be added for you.

I found a virtual cat on Webfetti that I added to my MySpace page. I hope my friends have a good time playing with it. There are some fun puzzles and other games on Webfetti that I'm thinking of adding too....(More Info)

What's the Hardest Thing About How to Build a Website

Monday December 14, 2009

"I agree it is very hard to get your site off the ground to begin with, but for me the hardest part is maintaining it. It's a little bit of a hassle to me to find stuff to keep updating it with when I have paid projects to work on, and deadlines to meet. Sigh. It is all part of it though, when you run the store yourself." ~Trina L. Grant

"Getting the initial ideas, formats, and content (images, audio files, etc) together and actually starting the writing. Once the writing is started, it seems to get easier as you have a starting point and you can measure progress and refine from a known starting point." ~johro10

This is what Trina and Johor10 had to say. See what other's had to say. Then tell use what you think is the hardest part about building a website.
