Finding Friends - You can search friends by username, name, location or email address.
Old Friends - Since most people only list their first names finding old friends is just about impossible.
New Friends - You can only search by username, name, city or email address so finding people with similar interests to be new friends with will be difficult. You can make friends by browsing through profiles until you find some you like and subscribing and leaving messages. Search for people close to you by using the Metros link. Not all people in the city will be in the Metro though because you need to join a Metro to be included.
Connect to Friends - Once you find someone you want to add to your friends list you can just click the button on their profile to add them. Then wait for them to let you add them.
Forums - There are no forums on Xanga to join in or make friends through.
Groups - On Xanga groups are called Blogrings. Find a blogring that you want to join and join it. Blogrings are set up by interests and hobbies.
Chat room - Xanga doesn't not have chat rooms but their is a code called Chatterbox that you can add to your Xanga profile that will allow you to create your own chatboard on your Xanga profile. Just follow the directions to add your own chatboard.
Live Chat (Instant Messaging) - Xanga does not offer instant messaging.
Subscriptions - You can subscribe to all of your favorite Xanga sites by just clicking the subscribe button on their Xanga profiles. Then you can view their updates and photos right from your Xanga editing page.
Friends Lists - Xanga does have a friends list. Invite people to be your friends and you will become their friend too. Then keep track of your Xanga friends from your friends list.
Comments On Blogs And Profiles - Write comments on other people's Xanga profiles and you can keep track of what you've written and who you've written to from the comments section on your own Xanga profile. Also, read the comments left to you from other people from the comments section in the "Feedback Log".
