Adding to Front Page Web Pages
Getting Your Page Online

By Linda Roeder, About.com

After you have completed all your pages and have linked them into a terrific site you will want to put it all online for the world to see. Doing this is not difficult but finding just the right free hosting service may be. You may want to find one that is FrontPage compatible.

Most free hosting services offer a file upload feature where you can upload your files from the file manager on their site. If they do not offer this feature you can either go into their HTML editor and also into your FrontPage HTML editor and copy/paste the code in or you can use an FTP client.

Using an {FTP client} is not hard and it is definitely the quickest way to add your pages to your site. First you must choose the FTP client that you want to use. Then fill in the account information given to you by the {hosting service} and also your username and password. Then you can connect to their server and send your files directly to your new site in a matter of seconds.

Once you have all your pages uploaded I recommend going through them all and making sure that every link works correctly. If even one important link is broken you will have angry readers so make sure to check carefully.
