Age - How old are you?
I am nineteen.

When did you start your site?
I originally had a site with AOL from about 1996 or 1997 to 1999. It had a sort of Renaissance/medevial theme and was really popular. Then AOL turned all Communist and started forcing people into the Hometown AOL neighborhoods. Eventually, we evacuated, but I lost my site and all the visitors. It has been on angelfire since 2000 and basically, no one but my closest friends have visited it.

Marital Status?

Single and hoping for a hockey player. Or Ioan Gruffudd.

Occupation - What kind of work do you do?
I'm a college student, majoring in History and hoping to be a teacher.

Hobbies - What do you like to do, besides keep this site?
Read, watch movies, listen to music. Take care of my pets. Acting. Rollerblading, watching and playing hockey. Visit my page, it's all on there!

Location - Where are you from? Where are you now?
I'm a native of Denver, Colorado. I complain about it, but I have been all over the US and oh, there are many worse places!

Why did you start writing your Web site?
I don't remember, really. It seemed like a good idea at the time. And it seemed like everyone had a web page, I wanted one too. I don't really like assembling them, but it's hard to tear me away from the finished product.

Why do you write a site about you?
I wanted to show my life to other people, I'm a show off. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to post photos of myself though.

Do you communicate with readers of your site?

Oh yeah, I love when people write me about my page! With my AOL site, I received tons of e-mail and always replied. Lots of times, it became regular correspondance. Alot of it came from fellow fans of whatever actor I had a fan site up for.

How much email feedback do you receive from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
Always positive. It surprises me how much people liked my pages. I've only had maybe three negative e-mails and they were usually nutbars.

Have you met any new friends because of the site?
Yes, several, that I still talk too.

Has your motivation changed over time?
Not really. I just want to have fun, when it's not fun anymore, I won't do it. But that's not likely.

How has it changed your life?
It has introduced me to new people, putting me in some new situations. I have also learned alot about design and HTML, someday these skills will save the world.

Do your friends and family know you keep this site/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?

Yeah, everyone in my family knows I have a homepage. My friends think it's hysterical, they love my rants and photos. Most of my family is computer illiterate and fear for weirdos.

I have only had one negative experience and that was regarding a photo I posted of my cousin and I at a Renaissance faire. We attend every year in costume and I used to hang out on alt.fairs.renaissance, a newsgroup. Well, I made a flippant comment that the joust was "cheesy" and the performers in said joust read it. They visited my website, hoping, I think, for a photo of me so they could confront me at faire. Well, there weren't any, except the one of me and my cousin and you couldn't see my face--but they knew her personally. So they harrassed her about it, she called me all hysterical, I got mad. I filed complaints with the faire management and had it out on-line with these guys. Ever since, whenever I mention my page, she freaks out, assuming I have giant photos of her posted everywhere for weirdos to find. It's annoying.

How has your Web site benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?

Well, by introducing me to a good friend, for one. I don't know if it's helped anyone else. I don't think so, it's pretty simple. Once, Dougray Scott's sister signed my guestbook. That was cool.

If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
I'd have moved my original, beautiful AOL site that got me so many friends and feedback, to angelfire, rather then starting over from scratch. I would have kept my Dougray Scott site.
