Age - How old are you?
36

When did you start your site?
Since 1995. As I learned more, the site grew larger and more elaborate.

Marital Status?
Single.

Occupation - What kind of work do you do?
Returned back to school to pursue another degree

Hobbies - What do you like to do, besides keep this site?
Music, reading, travelling

Location - Where are you from? Where are you now?

From Canada, currently living in a small town in Oklahoma

Why did you start writing your Web site?
Back at around 1995 when I fist got online, I noticed alot of interesting people had their own personal websites.

Why do you write a site about you?
1. Gives a complete profile about myself, in case a prospective employer wants to know about me as a person, outside the work/academic world.

2. Best place for a single male to put together a personal ad about himself, his goals and ambitions, which I found many of the online dating sites lack.

Do you communicate with readers of your site?
A few. Many are just ones that surf on in and sign a guestbook. Rarely I get emails from people, who want to write and make a new friend.

How much email feedback do you receive from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
It's been positive. Wished someone from a company based on my field would drop me a line asking me to call him/her to discuss a job opportunity.

Have you met any new friends because of the site?
A few.. Some are celebrities..

Has your motivation changed over time?

Yes it has. With the ordeals that I have gone through in life, I always asked myself, why I am still here, and going through this crisis when others have had a jump start in life and are way way ahead of me.

How has it changed your life?
Can't really see any change as of yet..

Do your friends and family know you keep this site/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?
A few friends, I'd rather keep my family out of my "online life".

How has your Web site benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?
For people, it gives them a deep look inside into who I am.

If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
Hard to really say here...

What are your favorite things on your site?
1. some friends online, whom I had met in person.

2. listing some of my accomplishments I've achieved so far.

When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
Page layout, description of the website, informative content, links

What is "one word" that would describe your site?
Beautiful

Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
I don't know what I'd call myself, other than a simple man, who is struggling to survive in this unfair world...

How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
Where I am living right now, there are some good resource places where I can ask someone to show me some of the features (HTML, JavaScript, etc) of how this or that is done.

Why do you think people are interested in you and what you have to say?
If they are interested.. Great... If not, I don't care...

What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why write a Web site")?
Interests mostly, but hope to be able to make it a decent living soon!!!
