Location - Where are you from? Where are you now?
I was born in a subberb of Chicago Illinois... I live in the Shenendoah Valley... about 2 hours drive from DC

Why did you start writing your diary online?
It's the friend I can always talk to when no one else is available. It helps me look back on the good and the bad times.

Do you communicate with readers of your diary?
I try. It's anything but dull. E.G. more like awesome.

How much email feedback do you recieve from your diary? Is it mainly positive or negative?
I recieve comments more during spring and summer when people aren't busy. Mainly possitive... girls think I'm Hot or something.

Have you met any new friends because of your diary?
I'd like to say yes. But it wasn't more then a one time conversation.

Has your motivation changed over time?
Yes.

How has the diary changed your life?
Yes... mine and close friends. Some things get said that just hcange everything.

Do your friends and family know you keep this journal/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?
My friends all know. I don't think my family knows. No negative experiences... Everything I said was something that should of been heard in the first place. It's just people are more likely to "listen" when they read your journal.

How has the diary benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?
Well it shows my friends mostly the way my life is. What so many people wouldn't know otherwise.

Has your diary ever gotten you in trouble? If so, how? Scenerio: If you were wronged by a person that you know reads your diary, would you bash them anyway? What about family? What about co-workers?
Maybe... I try to be a little vague on some things that are touchy... so only the party concerned can get the hint.

If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
I would post entries nightly... instead of every so often... Even if they were generally private posts.

Do you have any favorite entries?
http://www.blurty.com/talkpost.bml?journal=liquidrock&itemid=11211

What do you look for in an online journal, as a reader?
I want to see what things stand out in peoples lives... day to day.

Do you use your real name in your diary?
yes

Do you censor yourself in your diary?
no I don't cause it's just me

Do you ever use fiction techniques such as imaginary dialogue?
no. not yet anyway

Do you ever significantly edit/rewrite past entries?
no... only spell check

Would you describe your diary as traditional, essay, novel, rant, letter to someone, a theme journal, or something different?
rant, biography

What is one word that would describe your diary's content?
inquisitive

As an online diarist do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
probably more an innovater, maybe someday celebrity

How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
I research all available techniques. If the site doesn't allow it I'll simply link to a place where I can accomplish that.

Why do you think people are interested in what you have to say?
Because they're bored. I know that's a horrible thing to say. It just feels good to think some one cares and checks up on you. This way that may be true without me truely knowing.

What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of why an online journal)?
Design is the first eye catcher. I could do more... You catch the eye then the person looks on and examines. The content then becomes crucial.
