Create your own Chinese Prosperity Garden and celebrate the Chinese New Year all year. Send prosperity gifts to your friends to help them be prosperous. Customize the look and feel of your prosperity garden and make it just the way you want it. There are all sorts of gifts you can add to your virtual Chinese prosperity garden on Facebook.
Add Facebook Prosperity Garden - Add your own Chinese Prosperity Garden by going to the it's Facebook application page and following the instructions.
Send a Gift - Now that you have your prosperity garden set up on Facebook you can start sending prosperity gifts to your friends.
- Scroll down the page a little to right past your prosperity garden. Start typing in your friend's name in the box labeled "Send a Gift to". Names of your friends will start popping up. Choose the name of the person you want to send the gift to. Then click on the "Let's go" button.
- Choose a gift from the many gifts available for your friend's prosperity tree.
- Then choose a place to put your gift on your friend's prosperity tree by dragging the big red "X" to the spot on the tree that you want the gift to live.
- Add a message from you to your friend. Then click the "Place in the Garden" button.
View Your Garden - Click on the button that says "My Garden" to see what your prosperity garden looks like at any given time.
Customize - When you click on the "Customize" button you'll be able to move around the items on your tree. You can throw items in the trash too, if you really want to. Then click "Update" and your prosperity tree will be better than new. You can also choose to add a different background to your prosperity garden. Just scroll down in the customize page and choose the background you like.
View Friends' Garden - Clicking on the "View Friends' Garden" button will let you see what your friends' gardens look like. Type in your friend's name and click "Take me" to see your friend's garden.
Invite Friends - The prosperity tree is a lot more fun when you have some friends to send gifts to and get gifts from. Over on the upper right side of the page you'll see a button that says "invite friends", click on this to start telling friends about the prosperity tree. Once some of your friends add a prosperity tree to their Facebook profiles you'll start having a lot more fun with it.
