Age - How old are you?
25
When did you start your Web site?
I started this site, not that long ago, I am going to say I started it around the 1st of August 2004.
Marital Status?
I am not married, in technical terms. I have a significant other in my life. Her and I have been together over 4 years and we have a beautiful daughter who just turned 2 in June.
Occupation - What kind of work do you do?
What you see here is my occupation. I am a custom car painter.
Hobbies - What do you like to do, besides keep this site?
This site is acutally kept up by my girlfriend, Lori. My hobby is my occupation, I really enjoy what I do, and plan on doing this for a long time to come.
Location - Where are you from? Where are you now?
Born and raised here in Colorado. The house my parents live in is the house that I grew up in, and now Lori and I live just a few houses up the street from my parents.
Why did you start writing your Web site?
I (Lori) started this site, so that people in our area who are interested in having their car painted, can see some of the past work that Henry has done. Also, everyone now a days has a website, so I felt we needed to get caught up with time.
What is your site about?
This site is about Hybreed Customs, and what Hybreed Customs does, is custom paint on cars, trucks, suv's, etc. Pretty much just pictures of past work that has been put out there with our name on it.
Why do you write a site about your interest or hobby?
To let people know what we are about, this is something that is really interesting to someone who is looking for great paint work on a show car or a car that has been restored back to original condition.
Do you communicate with readers of your site?
I would really like to communicate with the people who visit my site, I would like to learn a little about them, how they heard about this site, how they found this site, and so on.
How much email feedback to you receive from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
I have not had any email feedback on my site yet. Which is okay, because it is brand new, and still under construction to a point. I would hope that any email feedback that I receive will be positive, or someone letting me know an idea that they have that could improve something in my site.
Have you met any new friends because of the site?
As of now, No. Hopefully soon, I can meet some interesting people.
Do your friends and family know you keep this site/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?
My friends and family do know about this site, and they have all said "So far, So good!" So I hopefully am off on the right foot in the right direction. My friends and family are really helpful and support me (Henry) and Hybreed Customs.
As of right now this site has not benefited me, but hopefully after everything is running smoothly, I can change this, to report that business has picked up and such.
If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
As of right now, I would not change much, maybe just get myself more familiar with HTML, and FrontPage, so that I can design sites the way I want them, and to be able to use all my graphics, and background images.
My favorite things about this site, are the pictures, and seeing the different stages that each and every vehicle goes through to get painted. I think my most favorite, well is a tie for first, and that is www.81x.com/hybreedcustoms/dually Personally I think these are the two vehicles that were our own personal vehicles, that for what they were when we bought them, came out the most improved, or had the most drastic make overs.
When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
I look for it to be easy to navigate in and content to be something that I have an interest in.
What is "one word" that would describe your site?
interesting
Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
Right now, I can't really answer this question. My site has not been out there long enough for me to answer.
How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
Well, I have only really used site builders, so far to build this site. Once this site is complete I plan on focusing on using FrontPage, or another similar program, only because I don't know what is available, or a good program to use.
Why do you think people are interested in your interest or hobby and what you have to say about it?
People would be interested in my site, because no matter who you are or what you do for a living or even what your hobbies are, everyone will stop what they are doing if there goes down the street, let's say a 56 Chevy Bel Air, with paint that reflects the sun as if it was glass.
