When did you start your site?
I started it originally a year and a half ago. It moved from free page to free page as size restrictions were hit, and is now on it's own domain.
Marital Status?
Married to a beautiful woman, and have 5 sons that range in age from 12-24.
Occupation - What kind of work do you do?
I teach residential living skills to mentally retarded/developmentally disabled adults.
Hobbies - What do you like to do, besides keep this site?
Location - Where are you from? Where are you now?
Born in Kansas, raised in Colorado, now living back in Kansas.
Why did you start writing your Web site?
To praise and glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What is your site about?
It's a praise, prayer, worship and fellowship site. We have a massive links page, that also links to other massive links pages. :)Also features chat, HumanClick, message forums and free email addresses.
Why do you write a site about Jesus Christ?
To praise and glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Do you communicate with readers of your site?
Yes, via email, human click, and chatroom.
How much email feedback to you receive from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
Email, none. The feedback in the guestbook is almost all positive though.
Have you met any new friends because of the site?
Oh YES! I have about 6 very close online friends who found me through this website!
Has your motivation changed over time?
How has it changed your life?
The website hasn't changed my life... Jesus changed my life, hence the website!
Do your friends and family know you keep this site/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?
Oh YES! And no, except my wife and kids think I spend too much time working on it.
How has your Web site benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?
It edifies my soul and spirit. And gives me something to do that would otherwise be spent on television. :)
If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
I would have hosted it at this domain from the start. The hosting help site has been an invaluable source of answers on problems I had with various features.
What are your favorite things on your site?
The chatroom, HumanClick, the message forum, the guestbook, and email.
When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
Christian content, fast load times, good graphics.
Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
Nothing really, just a web page designer.
How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
I write the code in a word processor. As for part 2, I don't know. I've been able to either figure out how to do what I envisioned, or someone to tell me how to do it.
Why do you think people are interested in your interest or hobby and what you have to say about it?
Even non-believers know about Christ and are curious about Him. I try to help them get the answers they seek.
What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why write a Web site")?
I serve a beautiful, merciful God. And He changes the heart. I just want to share Him with others!
