You can create a photo blog with this service or just keep it a text blog. Adding photos is easy. Link to them from somewhere else, send using email or your camera phone, or use the file upload utility included.

Privacy
Blogger does not currently offer password protection. Their help file says that if you host your blog on your own server your hosting service may offer password protection for you.
Space
Have as many blogs as you want on one account with as many posts as you want. Each blog page can have as many posts on it as you want, but is limited to 1MB per page. You can upload up to 300MB of photos to your Blogger site. If you host your blog on your own site then you can post up to your hosting provider's limit.
