Why did you start writing your Web site?
I started it to show pictures from my oldest daughters wedding. Her husband is form Ireland and this was a way go let all the relatives see the pictures. It just grew from there.

Why do you write a site about your family?
We are spread around the country, lets us keep up with each other.

Why do you post pictures of your children on your site?:
so friends and relatives can see them.

Do you discuss your children on your site? Why or why not?
Not to any great extent.

Do you and/or others in your family communicate with readers of your site?
Yes when someone signs my guest book I try to respond.

How much email feedback do you recieve from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
Not much, not many signers, but those who have have been positive.

Have you met any new friends because of the site?:
Several

Has your motivation changed over time?
No, use it to keep family and friends abrest of whats happening.

Do your friends and family know you keep this site/read it? If so have you had any really negative experiences as a result? If not why?
Yes. no negitive experiences

How has your Web site benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?
I can't really say. I hope they have enjoyed the pictures from Japan and the tales and pictures from Viet Nam

If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
I can't think of anything.

What are your favorite things on your site?
The pictures.

What do you look for in an personal Web site, as a viewer?
Interesting pictures and information

What is "one word" that would describe your site?
maybe "interesting"

Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
No, not really. I have some good pictures that my dad took that I wanted to share, as well as the Viet Nam stuff. The rest is just about me and my family.

How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
Learn as I go, and improvise.

Why do you think people are interested in your family, what they do, and/or what they have to say?
I can't really say. I haven't had a lot of feedback. It would abe nice to have more guest book entries.

What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why do you write a Web site?")
Partly to share the pictures, partly as a learning experience.
