Block a Person on Facebook, From Their Own Profile

By , About.com Guide

Go directly to the profile page of the person you want to block and report. From the person's own profile page, you can block them from being able to see you, and report them at the same time. This is quick and this is easy. It'll take about 5 minutes or so.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 2 minutes
Here's How:
  1. If the person you want to block is on your friend list, you'll need to remove them from your friend list before reporting and blocking them. To remove them from your friend list go to their profile page, scroll down quite a ways. On your left you'll see a link that says "Remove from Friends", click this link.
  2. Once someone is not on your friend list you'll see a link that says "Report this Person", click this link.
  3. Check the "Block this Person" box and click "Submit".
