Heading Tags

There are different reasons why you would want your text to be different sizes. You could use larger text as a title or for a way to emphasize a word or phrase. You may want to use smaller text to place notes at the bottoms of pages or create a whisper.

Creating headings is as simple as one through five. Five sizes that is. All you have to do to create a heading is to place the text between the start tag and the end tag.

One rule when using the different size heading tags, is to use them in number order. If you use a number two tag for your first title, then you shouldn't use the number one tag anywhere else on your page. If you use the number four tag first, then you should not use one through three anywhere.

If you want to use bigger text later in your page, and you are not using it as a title, then you can use FONT sizes. You can use any size font anywhere on the page you want to. There is not rule against using bigger fonts or smaller fonts in any part of the page. You can make your page look any way you want.
