Guide Review - Poor Richard's Web Site

Start to Finish

This is not a book on HTML, although it is discussed briefly, this is a book about how to get your site on the World Wide Web including information on where to host it, how to design it, and how to make it work properly. You will also learn how to get your domain name registered and how you can sell your stuff and take orders right from your site.

First it explains to you the different types of Internet connections so you can decide how you want to get online. It also discusses what you will need to get started right down to needing a computer and a modem. It briefly goes over the different email programs you can use and different programs that will help you get online, design a page and send the page to the server where you will be placing your site.
