Online Diary 101
Assignment 2

From , former About.com Guide

Your assignment for this lesson is to create your homepage. Start by deciding on a title for your site. Then decide how you want your homepage to look. Create a design and form your layout. Next add the description of your site.

Lastly decide what pages you are going to link to and add areas to link to them. If you know what the addresses of your pages will be then add the links.

While creating your homepage keep in mind that this is what is going to make people stay on your site and hopefully read it. Make it good!

In next weeks lesson we will go over how to create your biography page. Do you know how to go about describing yourself to others on the Internet? I'm going to give you some tips to make your biography page make people want to read the rest of your site.

Post your diaries here! Let others see what you have done so far and get opinions and criticisms. Getting advice from others is the best way to create a great site.
