If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
Oh boy...well, I'm in the process of revamping the whole site, making it more interactive and fun. This could take awhile!

What are your favorite things on your site?
Well, my work, of course, but I have a links page that sums up a lot of my interests. (other artists, great music and vintage clothing links).

When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
I look for content; in other words, I want to read WHY the person made the site, not just see a bunch of links.

What is "one word" that would describe your site?
Retro

Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
Well, I'd like to be a celebrity! I would like to be thought of as an innovator of sorts, since there isn't a lot of art out there that looks like mine. (It's a little hard to catagorize).

How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
Well, it's a process - i taught myself Dreamweaver, and I'm always learning new things - right now I'm learing Flash. Instead of getting frustrated, I try to figure out the answers.

Why do you think people are interested in your interest or hobby and what you have to say about it?
I think a lot of people these days are disatisfied with the lack of mystery and glamour in today's world, and I'd like to think that my site helps to bring a little of that back.

What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why write a Web site")?As an artist, I always try to make whatever I do beautiful. It's pretty subjective, so I dont' expect everyone to like my site, or even my art, but if I can make someone happy with my site, great!
