I had been suffering from a dibilating chronic disease and I could feel myself slipping into a depression. I got online in Sept.'97 and found so many inspirational sites. I had many pieces of writings that were sitting in drawers and shoe boxes and thought that some of what I had written may make people feel better about themselves and may even put a smile on someone's face.

I signed up with "Angelfire" in May '98 and from that point I never looked back. My site took off like wild fire..(still have no idea how) and today I have over 2,500 subscribers and many many loyal readers. It was the best thing I could have done - helping others, which then in turn, helped me emotionally, mentally and physically.
