Many of the people that come to this site are new to Web page design and often new to the Internet in general. That's the main reason why I have come up with a glossary of common terms and how they relate to personal Web pages, Web design and HTML.
The new Personal Web Pages Glossary will be a place where you can come to help you with words and terms that you are not familiar with or to help you see how that word or term relates to personal Web pages. It will have new words and terms added to it whenever it is deemed that a certain word or term is needed so if you know of something that is not here but you think should be just let me know and I will add it.
In future articles you will see links to words that are in the article to help you better understand what is being talked about. For now you will see the glossary term in brackets. It will look something like this: She wrote an {online diary} so she could share her thoughts with the world.
