WebSite X5 Website Builder Review

Thursday May 7, 2009

Really easy to use, desktop website builder. With it's wizard interface and drag and drop design features, you'll be designing professional looking Web pages for your personal website. Templates and other tools are included. Just choose whatever you want to add to your Web pages and add it.

I tried out Incomedia Website X5 for a few weeks and really liked it. I haven't tried out the Evolution 8 version, so let me know what you think. I hear it's a lot easier to use, I can't imagine, and it also includes some new tools, like blogging and YouTube support....(More Info)

What options did it give you after that? It worked fine for me.

Anyone else have any problems?

Sorry, the code for the free software is not for Website X5 E8, it’s for Website X5 Smart 8.

The price for Evolution is (59,95 € VAT excl.) ca. 91,80 $ VAT excl. (depending on the currency). One can check the exact price in $ on the website. ~Says Incomedia

I downloaded and installed this software, it is so user friendly that even newbies will find it a joy to use, just point and click most of it!

Make sure that you go to their website and register the software and you’re good to go.

Thanks for the link to this website builder!

NOTE – about the free Website X5 vers. 8 offered here.

This is not the Website X5 “Evolution” program. Evolution is the fullest program.

X5 “Compact” is a smaller version of this with less features.

The one offerred for free here is neither “Evolution 8″ nor “Compact 8″ – it is a smaller version still – Website X5 “Smart 8″.

Compare the different programs easily here:

http://www.websitex5.com/en/compare-1.html

It doesn’t even seem possible to buy this smaller “Smart” version from the X5 website. I don’t think it’s fair to say that this “Smart” version even gives the Evolution program in a trial capacity. Maybe you can see how easy it is to use it – and you can also produce your own web pages as a much reduced editor to “Evolution”. But you’re not trying X5 “Evolution 8″ which the about.com article was describing.

I have also read in a review recently that the trial version of the “Evolution” program which is offerred as a download from Commedia’s site is also far from the full “Evolution 8″ program. The “Smart 8″ program may be just as good as a trial version and it’s yours forever if downloaded from here.
