Tips for Kids Internet Safety

Let your kids have fun, but keep them safe while they play on the Internet. Here are some Internet safety tips to help you learn how to keep them safe, what you need to do, and how far you should take it.

There's a fine line a parent walks when choosing how much time their kids can use the Internet and which websites they'll be allowed to use while on there. If you don't give them enough access, they'll sneak around you and get on anyway, or hate you. If you give them too much access you risk them making friends with every Tom, Dick and Harry out there.

The trick is to educate your kids about the dangers of the Internet and then lay out your restrictions. This is played the same way you play, you can't stay out at night too late, or, you can't go to every party. You still let them go out, you still let them go to parties, you still let them go to the park. First you educate them.

Before you let your teen go to a party you educate them about the dangers of drugs. Before you let your 10 year old ride his bike to his friend's house by himself for the first time you educate him about strangers. Before you let your kids stay out past 11pm you educate them about drinking and peer pressure.

Now your dealing with the dangers of the Internet. It's time to educate them about it before...(More Info)

I suggest to talk with your kids before they use Internet, you should advice them in an appropriated manner about things like Porn and violent web sites. You should check once some of this web sites with them, Donīt let the alone against the jungle!

Aside from the Internet, we all know that most teens are into online games. Internet and online games serves as a pool for hungry and soulless predators to search for their prey. It’s either our children surf or play online games too much.
