AdSense code - Question From The Forum

My site is hosted by aplus.net. I have tried and tried to no avail to add my Google AdSense code to my homepage source code. I used the website builder on their site because they could not accommodate the one I had previously made. I have written aplus and they told me they could not help with code. Google's forum has offered no help. I hope I am not imposing too much on your kindness, but I really need help.
When I get to the source code on my webpage, there is no head or title, just body. Google says to put the code between the head and body, but it's impossible for me to do. If you have any suggestions, I'll be more than happy to try them out.

Im getting a lot of popups when Im browsing the internet, sometimes even when Im not at the computer, I leave it on for
an hour and when I get back I have 2-3 popups that have appeared from nowhere. How can I remove this? Im really not intrested
