I prefer to use self hosted because it gives me more control without amy restrictions. I did start at blogger though because it was easily set up."

This is a great point for any of you who are serious about starting a blog or any kind of personal website. Your website does not have to be hosted by a free or even a paid hosting service. There are other website hosting options available to you. You can even host your own website if you really want to. There are positives and negatives to this though.
