Sick Family Member? Talk About It

Tuesday August 2, 2005
There are a few sites online that let you talk to other people in your situation about sick family members. You can even set up a personal Web page about the illness or family member.

The Boston Globe Online has posted a list of 4 sites that will let you talk to other people or set up a personal Web site about a family member with an illness.

Listed are:

www.acor.org - This is the American Cancer Association. You can chat with other people with cancer or with family members with cancer.

www.caringbridge.com - Create your own CaringBridge page to help you keep in contact with family members you want to keep up to date.

www.healthdiaries.com - Choose your disease from the list and create your own online diary (blog) to keep people updated on your progress or to tell about your loved one.

www.carepages.com - Create a CarePage to tell about your condition or the condition of a family member.
