Self-proclaimed "Administrative Diva" for a property management firm.

Born (and still live) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Why did you start writing your Web site?
I received the program as a Christmas gift from Hubbie. I found that writing much of the site was a very therapeautic way to deal with the loss of my parents, as well as with the horrors of 9/11.
Why do you write a site about you?
It's pure self-indulgence, and no one can re-but anything I say, right?
Do you communicate with readers of your site?
Yes, I've electronically met some great folks. Amazing how easy it is to communicate with people across the globe.
How much email feedback to you receive from your site? Is it mainly positive or negative?
Thankfully, it's all be positive. Since it's a site about remembrance, people have thus far been very gracious and kind.
Has your motivation changed over time?
Not really. I started out specifically wanting to make the site as visually appealing as I could, and I still find that my central goal.
How has your Web site benefited you? Your friends? Or total strangers?
I like to include humor on the site, so if I've given a few folks a chuckle, what could be better?
If you had to do it over again from the beginning, what would you change?
Go with a web hosting company that gives you LOT of band width. I began with a very small amount of room with which to work and quickly outgrew it. My advice to others is, it's better to start out with a lot of room so that there's plenty there to use!
What are your favorite things on your site?
Currently, I tend to visit the page about my husband's father (http://www.sweetremembrance.com/Fatherinlaw.htm) and am compiling more info about him, which will launch in June, 2004.
When looking at other people's Web sites what do you look for as a viewer?
Pictures, graphics and FUNNY STUFF.
What is "one word" that would describe your site?
Sweet.
Because of your site do you consider yourself a Web celebrity, an exhibitionist, a public figure, a writer, an innovator, or something different?
A writer.
How do you tackle the mechanics of Web design and how do you deal with your frustrations when you can't do what you envision.
I usually go right to the web to research what others have done. If I find good advice I follow it and if I still can't do what I wanted to, I change my vision.
What compels you to design beautiful pages and to write from the heart (beyond just the usual question of "why do you write a Web site?")
I write about what is important to me and because it's important, I continually refine and tweak my pages until they meet my standards.
